Sourcherry refill pack IQOS in San José: the price shortlist
Sourcherry in San José: 6 units tested over 9 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
The honest read on sourcherry: 6 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at sourcherry in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: sourcherry in San José works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sourcherry refill pack really costs in San José
A sourcherry refill pack from the value options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.42 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested sourcherry in a refill pack
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a sourcherry bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sourcherry in San José survives.
- Mixing sourcherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
