Sourcherry refill pack IQOS in San José: the best shortlist
Sourcherry in San José: 9 units tested over 2 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sourcherry habit
Sourcherry refill pack reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A sourcherry refill pack from the best options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.34 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, refill pack, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sourcherry refill pack really costs in San José
We run sourcherry the same way in San José: same refill pack, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested sourcherry in a refill pack
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing sourcherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sourcherry tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for sourcherry in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
