Sourcherry cartomizer IQOS in San José: the best shortlist
Sourcherry in San José: 23 units tested over 5 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sourcherry habit
A sourcherry cartomizer from the best options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.12 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Sourcherry cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sourcherry cartomizer really costs in San José
We run sourcherry the same way in San José: same cartomizer, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested sourcherry in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
