Sour refill pack IQOS in San José: the price shortlist
Sour in San José: 7 units tested over 7 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What sour costs in San José
A sour refill pack from the value options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.3 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Sour refill pack reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour refill pack really costs in San José
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.3 per 10 ml.
How we tested sour in a refill pack
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sour goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in San José survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
