Sour mesh tank IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Sour in San José: 18 units tested over 3 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
Sour in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour mesh tank really costs in San José
Sour mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested sour in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where sour goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised ₡31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.48 per 10 ml.
