Raspberry squonk mod IQOS in San José: the order shortlist
Raspberry in San José: 13 units tested over 9 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
A raspberry squonk mod from the pre-order options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.66 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: raspberry in San José works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a raspberry squonk mod really costs in San José
Raspberry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.66 per 10 ml.
How we tested raspberry in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every raspberry bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where raspberry goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised ₡31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.66 per 10 ml.
- Mixing raspberry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
