Raspberry squonk mod IQOS in San José: the guide shortlist
Raspberry in San José: 19 units tested over 8 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Raspberry is allowed to say
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Raspberry in San José reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long raspberry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a raspberry squonk mod really costs in San José
Raspberry in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested raspberry in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a raspberry bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where raspberry goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long raspberry in San José survives.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On raspberry the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡3.32 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡3.32 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡44 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does raspberry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the raspberry blend itself harsh.
