Raspberry pod kit IQOS in San José: the review shortlist
Raspberry in San José: 17 units tested over 6 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Raspberry is allowed to say
Raspberry in San José reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
A raspberry pod kit from the reviewed options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.04 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long raspberry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a raspberry pod kit really costs in San José
Raspberry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.04 per 10 ml.
How we tested raspberry in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every raspberry bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where raspberry goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Treating the advertised ₡41 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.04 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
