Raspberry pen device IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Raspberry in San José: 24 units tested over 3 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with raspberry in Costa Rica
Raspberry pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long raspberry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a raspberry pen device really costs in San José
Raspberry in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested raspberry in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a raspberry bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where raspberry goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
