Raspberry mesh tank IQOS in San José: the flat shortlist
Raspberry in San José: 12 units tested over 3 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Raspberry is allowed to say
Raspberry in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The honest read on raspberry: 12 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: raspberry in San José works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a raspberry mesh tank really costs in San José
Raspberry sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested raspberry in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every raspberry bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where raspberry goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised ₡60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.12 per 10 ml.
- Mixing raspberry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for raspberry in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On raspberry the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡2.12 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡2.12 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡60 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does raspberry in a mesh tank last?
In San José we measured 3 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
