Nutty vape pen IQOS in San José: the flat shortlist
Nutty in San José: 23 units tested over 5 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
If you are looking at nutty in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the vape pen you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Nutty vape pen reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long nutty tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a nutty vape pen really costs in San José
We run nutty the same way in San José: same vape pen, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested nutty in a vape pen
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every nutty bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On nutty the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡2.1 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does nutty taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the nutty blend itself harsh.
