Plum zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in San José: the online shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Plum in San José: 7 units tested over 9 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with plum in Costa Rica
Plum zero-nicotine bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Plum in San José reaches the shelf in zero-nicotine bottle formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: plum in San José works if the zero-nicotine bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum zero-nicotine bottle really costs in San José
The honest read on plum: 7 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested plum in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where plum goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡57 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.95 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plum the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡2.95 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
