Iced cartomizer IQOS in San José: the price shortlist
Iced in San José: 24 units tested over 9 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version
Iced sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Iced cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 24 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a iced cartomizer really costs in San José
Iced cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested iced in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where iced goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long iced in San José survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On iced the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡2.73 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
