Plum squonk mod IQOS in San José: the order shortlist
Plum in San José: 8 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How to tell a good squonk mod from a repack
If you are looking at plum in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Plum squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum squonk mod really costs in San José
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡1.6 per 10 ml.
How we tested plum in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where plum goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in San José survives.
- Treating the advertised ₡45 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.6 per 10 ml.
