Pear in San José: 17 units tested over 8 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What pear costs in San José
Pear pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A pear pod kit from the value options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.43 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a pear pod kit really costs in San José
If you are looking at pear in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested pear in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where pear goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for pear in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
