Pear disposable vape IQOS in San José: the budget shortlist
Pear in San José: 12 units tested over 9 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Coil life, liquid cost and the pear habit
Pear in San José reaches the shelf in disposable vape formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
A pear disposable vape from the budget options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.02 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the disposable vape you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear disposable vape really costs in San José
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested pear in a disposable vape
- Pick the disposable vape that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for disposable vape in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a disposable vape arrives sealed but wrong.
Where pear goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in San José survives.
- Treating the advertised ₡58 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.02 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest disposable vape available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a disposable vape cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡2.02 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡58 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Can I order IQOS online in Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–9 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the disposable vape units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
