Pear 30 ml shortfill IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Pear in San José: 18 units tested over 8 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
Pear in San José reaches the shelf in 30 ml shortfill formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: pear in San José works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear 30 ml shortfill really costs in San José
Pear 30 ml shortfill reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested pear in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where pear goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in San José survives.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Packaging for pear in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a 30 ml shortfill cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡3.23 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡56 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 30 ml shortfill.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
