Mango in San José: 11 units tested over 7 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Mango box mod here
A mango box mod from the pre-order options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.39 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Mango in San José reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: mango in San José works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mango box mod really costs in San José
If you are looking at mango in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested mango in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mango bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where mango goes wrong
- Mixing mango with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mango in San José survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

How long does mango in a box mod last?
In San José we measured 7 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.

Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
What nicotine strength should mango start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
