Pear 100 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the online shortlist
Pear in San José: 11 units tested over 5 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What pear costs in San José
Pear 100 ml bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 11 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a 100 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: pear in San José works if the 100 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear 100 ml bottle really costs in San José
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested pear in a 100 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for 100 ml bottle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the 100 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where pear goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a 100 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in San José survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for pear in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a 100 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡3.08 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡49 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 100 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
