Peach prefilled pod IQOS in San José: the order shortlist
Peach in San José: 14 units tested over 4 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Peach is allowed to say
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
A peach prefilled pod from the pre-order options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.76 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: peach in San José works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a peach prefilled pod really costs in San José
The honest read on peach: 14 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested peach in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where peach goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long peach in San José survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised ₡36 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.76 per 10 ml.

Not automatically. On peach the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡2.76 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
Why does peach taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the peach blend itself harsh.
