Blueraspberry box mod IQOS in San José: the flat shortlist
Blueraspberry in San José: 16 units tested over 4 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a box mod for blueraspberry
Blueraspberry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.75 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at blueraspberry in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: blueraspberry in San José works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a blueraspberry box mod really costs in San José
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested blueraspberry in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a blueraspberry bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where blueraspberry goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing blueraspberry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does blueraspberry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the blueraspberry blend itself harsh.
Is blueraspberry legal to sell in Costa Rica?
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
How long does blueraspberry in a box mod last?
In San José we measured 4 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
