Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version
Peach pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Peach sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: peach in San José works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a peach pod kit really costs in San José
A peach pod kit from the discounted options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.34 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested peach in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where peach goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
Why does peach taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the peach blend itself harsh.
How long does peach in a pod kit last?
In San José we measured 6 to 7 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should peach start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
