Peach cartomizer IQOS in San José: the cheap shortlist
Peach in San José: 15 units tested over 2 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Peach cartomizer here
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Peach prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.69 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 15 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a peach cartomizer really costs in San José
Peach in San José reaches the shelf in cartomizer formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested peach in a cartomizer
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where peach goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing peach with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for peach in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.

On the last run in San José: about ₡2.69 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡46 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
