Peach 30 ml shortfill IQOS in San José: the compare shortlist
Peach in San José: 17 units tested over 7 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How we tested Peach 30 ml shortfill here
Peach prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.25 per 10 ml.
Peach in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: peach in San José works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a peach 30 ml shortfill really costs in San José
Peach prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.25 per 10 ml.
How we tested peach in a 30 ml shortfill
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where peach goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why peach tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long peach in San José survives.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for peach in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

How much does a 30 ml shortfill cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡3.25 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡49 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does peach taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the peach blend itself harsh.
