Passionfruit starter kit IQOS in San José: the price shortlist
Passionfruit in San José: 8 units tested over 8 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What passionfruit costs in San José
If you are looking at passionfruit in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
We run passionfruit the same way in San José: same starter kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a passionfruit starter kit really costs in San José
Passionfruit in San José reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested passionfruit in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where passionfruit goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Treating the advertised ₡56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.5 per 10 ml.
- Mixing passionfruit with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for passionfruit in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does passionfruit taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the passionfruit blend itself harsh.
How long does passionfruit in a starter kit last?
In San José we measured 8 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should passionfruit start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
