Passionfruit prefilled pod IQOS in San José: the budget shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Passionfruit in San José: 15 units tested over 9 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a prefilled pod for passionfruit
We run passionfruit the same way in San José: same prefilled pod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long passionfruit tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a passionfruit prefilled pod really costs in San José
We run passionfruit the same way in San José: same prefilled pod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested passionfruit in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every passionfruit bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where passionfruit goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡46 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.59 per 10 ml.
- Mixing passionfruit with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why passionfruit tastes flat after two days.
