Passionfruit cartomizer IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Passionfruit in San José: 6 units tested over 3 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
What the label on Passionfruit is allowed to say
Passionfruit prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.37 per 10 ml.
Passionfruit sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 6 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a passionfruit cartomizer really costs in San José
A passionfruit cartomizer from the discounted options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.37 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested passionfruit in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every passionfruit bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Batch code and production date, so a passionfruit bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
Where passionfruit goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long passionfruit in San José survives.
- Treating the advertised ₡59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.37 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
