Nutty zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in San José: the review shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Nutty in San José: 11 units tested over 8 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with nutty in Costa Rica
A nutty zero-nicotine bottle from the reviewed options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.91 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Nutty prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡2.91 per 10 ml.
The short version: nutty in San José works if the zero-nicotine bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a nutty zero-nicotine bottle really costs in San José
Nutty in a zero-nicotine bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested nutty in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the zero-nicotine bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every nutty bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest zero-nicotine bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a zero-nicotine bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long nutty in San José survives.
The rules that apply here
