Home / Citrus mesh tank IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist

Where buyers go wrong with citrus in Costa Rica

If you are looking at citrus in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.

Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.

The short version: citrus in San José works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.

What a citrus mesh tank really costs in San José

There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.

How we tested citrus in a mesh tank

1. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
2. Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
3. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.

• The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
• Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
• Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
• Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.

Where citrus goes wrong

• Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
• Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.
• Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

The rules that apply here

Packaging for citrus in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
