Nutty pod kit IQOS in San José: the review shortlist
Nutty in San José: 18 units tested over 5 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How to tell a good pod kit from a repack
Nutty in San José reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The honest read on nutty: 18 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long nutty tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a nutty pod kit really costs in San José
Nutty sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested nutty in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡37 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.58 per 10 ml.
- Mixing nutty with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
