Mintice RDA IQOS in San José: the flat shortlist
Mintice in San José: 9 units tested over 8 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Ordering IQOS to San José: the practical version
Mintice in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long mintice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mintice RDA really costs in San José
A mintice RDA from the flat-rate options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.27 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested mintice in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a mintice bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mintice tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mintice in San José survives.
