Mintice prefilled pod IQOS in San José: the wholesale shortlist
Mintice in San José: 6 units tested over 3 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
We run mintice the same way in San José: same prefilled pod, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Mintice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.5 per 10 ml.
The short version: mintice in San José works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mintice prefilled pod really costs in San José
Mintice sounds like one product. It is not: a prefilled pod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested mintice in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a mintice bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.5 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mintice in San José survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
