Mintice box mod IQOS in San José: the best shortlist
Mintice in San José: 9 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How to tell a good box mod from a repack
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
A mintice box mod from the best options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.12 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: mintice in San José works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mintice box mod really costs in San José
We run mintice the same way in San José: same box mod, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested mintice in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a mintice bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mintice bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mintice in San José survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On mintice the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡3.12 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does mintice in a box mod last?
In San José we measured 5 to 9 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
