Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, zero-nicotine bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a mint zero-nicotine bottle really costs in San José
Mint zero-nicotine bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested mint in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the zero-nicotine bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where mint goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a zero-nicotine bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a zero-nicotine bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mint tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
How much does a zero-nicotine bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡2.08 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡30 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should mint start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a zero-nicotine bottle.
