Mint squonk mod IQOS in San José: the guide shortlist
Mint in San José: 12 units tested over 2 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a squonk mod for mint
A mint squonk mod from the starter options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.86 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Mint squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: mint in San José works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint squonk mod really costs in San José
Mint in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested mint in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where mint goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.86 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mint in San José survives.
