Mint nicotine salt bottle IQOS in San José: the cheap shortlist
Mint in San José: 20 units tested over 9 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a nicotine salt bottle for mint
We run mint the same way in San José: same nicotine salt bottle, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Mint sounds like one product. It is not: a nicotine salt bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long mint tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mint nicotine salt bottle really costs in San José
If you are looking at mint in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the nicotine salt bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested mint in a nicotine salt bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for nicotine salt bottle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where mint goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mint in San José survives.
- Chasing a discount on a nicotine salt bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mint tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for mint in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
