Mint e-liquid bundle IQOS in San José: the online shortlist
Mint in San José: 16 units tested over 5 weeks, e-liquid bundle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a e-liquid bundle for mint
Mint sounds like one product. It is not: a e-liquid bundle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you are looking at mint in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the e-liquid bundle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: mint in San José works if the e-liquid bundle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint e-liquid bundle really costs in San José
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested mint in a e-liquid bundle
- Pick the e-liquid bundle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the e-liquid bundle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where mint goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mint in San José survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a e-liquid bundle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for mint in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should mint start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a e-liquid bundle.
Do you ship tracked orders to Costa Rica?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the e-liquid bundle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
