Mint 10 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Mint in San José: 24 units tested over 8 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with mint in Costa Rica
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
A mint 10 ml bottle from the discounted options in Costa Rica costs about ₡1.77 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the 10 ml bottle you buy decides how long mint tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mint 10 ml bottle really costs in San José
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested mint in a 10 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
Where mint goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 10 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised ₡37 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.77 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
