Mint 10 ml bottle IQOS in San José: the budget shortlist
Mint in San José: 22 units tested over 8 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with mint in Costa Rica
Mint sounds like one product. It is not: a 10 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
A mint 10 ml bottle from the budget options in Costa Rica costs about ₡1.62 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the 10 ml bottle you buy decides how long mint tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mint 10 ml bottle really costs in San José
Mint 10 ml bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested mint in a 10 ml bottle
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the 10 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 10 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where mint goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a 10 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mint tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should mint start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 10 ml bottle.
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 10 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
