Melon nicotine salt bottle IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist — Iqoscostarica
Melon in San José: 8 units tested over 5 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
Melon in San José reaches the shelf in nicotine salt bottle formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Melon sounds like one product. It is not: a nicotine salt bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: melon in San José works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a melon nicotine salt bottle really costs in San José
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested melon in a nicotine salt bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for nicotine salt bottle in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where melon goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ₡36 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.02 per 10 ml.
- Mixing melon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long melon in San José survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a nicotine salt bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in San José: about ₡2.02 per 10 ml liquid plus ₡36 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does melon in a nicotine salt bottle last?
In San José we measured 5 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does melon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the melon blend itself harsh.
