A melon 30 ml shortfill from the best options in Costa Rica costs about ₡1.88 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: melon in San José works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a melon 30 ml shortfill really costs in San José
The honest read on melon: 7 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested melon in a 30 ml shortfill
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where melon goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised ₡55 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.88 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Packaging for melon in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
