Mango sub-ohm kit IQOS in San José: the review shortlist
Mango in San José: 13 units tested over 8 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
We run mango the same way in San José: same sub-ohm kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Mango prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡3.39 per 10 ml.
The short version: mango in San José works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mango sub-ohm kit really costs in San José
Mango in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In San José the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested mango in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where mango goes wrong
- Mixing mango with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mango tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for mango in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
