Sweet e-liquid bundle IQOS in San José: the budget shortlist
Sweet in San José: 18 units tested over 4 weeks, e-liquid bundle formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Where buyers go wrong with sweet in Costa Rica
Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
A sweet e-liquid bundle from the budget options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.16 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: sweet in San José works if the e-liquid bundle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sweet e-liquid bundle really costs in San José
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Costa Rica. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested sweet in a e-liquid bundle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the e-liquid bundle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sweet bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a e-liquid bundle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the e-liquid bundle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest e-liquid bundle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a e-liquid bundle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
Is sweet legal to sell in Costa Rica?
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority.
Why does sweet taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the e-liquid bundle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the sweet blend itself harsh.
How long does sweet in a e-liquid bundle last?
In San José we measured 4 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
