Mango sub-ohm kit IQOS in San José: the flat shortlist
Mango in San José: 10 units tested over 9 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
How to tell a good sub-ohm kit from a repack
Ordering into San José usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
We run mango the same way in San José: same sub-ohm kit, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a mango sub-ohm kit really costs in San José
Mango prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡1.68 per 10 ml.
How we tested mango in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a mango bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where mango goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mango in San José survives.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Costa Rica need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
