Mango box mod IQOS in San José: the price shortlist
Mango in San José: 20 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a box mod for mango
Mango box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Mango in San José reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long mango tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mango box mod really costs in San José
Mango sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested mango in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a mango bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where mango goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Costa Rica stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mango tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised ₡40 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡3.14 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Costa Rica regulates nicotine imports under its health authority. Shipping of nicotine to Costa Rica runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for mango in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
