Lime vape pen IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist
Lime in San José: 21 units tested over 5 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Costa Rica.
Choosing a vape pen for lime
The honest read on lime: 21 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Lime vape pen reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 21 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: lime in San José works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lime vape pen really costs in San José
A lime vape pen from the discounted options in Costa Rica costs about ₡1.84 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested lime in a vape pen
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
Where lime goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long lime in San José survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Costa Rica accept nicotine freight.
