Where buyers go wrong with lime in Costa Rica

If you are looking at lime in Costa Rica, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.

Lime starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.

If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long lime tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

What a lime starter kit really costs in San José

Lime starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.

How we tested lime in a starter kit

1. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
2. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
3. Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.

• The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.
• Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
• Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lime bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
• Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.

Where lime goes wrong

• Treating the advertised ₡29 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.65 per 10 ml.
• Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
• Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long lime in San José survives.
