Home / Lime box mod IQOS in San José: the deals shortlist

Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means

We run lime the same way in San José: same box mod, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.

A lime box mod from the discounted options in Costa Rica costs about ₡2.54 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.

If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long lime tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

What a lime box mod really costs in San José

Most people searching IQOS in Costa Rica are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.

How we tested lime in a box mod

1. Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
2. Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
3. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.

• The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
• Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lime bottle shipped into Costa Rica.
• Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
• The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Costa Rica, not a suggestion.

Where lime goes wrong

• Treating the advertised ₡68 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡2.54 per 10 ml.
• Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long lime in San José survives.
• Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lime tastes flat after two days.

The rules that apply here

Retail sales in Costa Rica sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Packaging for lime in Costa Rica must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
