Coil life, liquid cost and the lemon habit
Lemon in San José reaches the shelf in sub-ohm kit formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Lemon sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a lemon sub-ohm kit really costs in San José
Lemon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In San José that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ₡1.89 per 10 ml.
How we tested lemon in a sub-ohm kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long lemon in San José survives.
- Treating the advertised ₡68 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ₡1.89 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
