What a cherry vape pen really costs in San José
A cherry vape pen from the cheapest options in Costa Rica costs about ₡3.35 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested cherry in a vape pen
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Costa Rica, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Costa Rica, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cherry tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing cherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cherry in San José survives.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Why does cherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the cherry blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On cherry the budget price and the premium price can sit within ₡3.35 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should cherry start at?
Start at whatever Costa Rica allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
